- From Fordingbridge, take the B3078 towards Cranborne. Follow the road through Alderholt on to the Cranborne Road (B3078) and into Cripplestyle. The Swallows Holiday Cottage, Heatherview is located on the right approximately 200 metres before the Cripplestyle signpost.
- From Ringwood, take the B3081 towards Verwood. Follow the road for about a mile then follow the sign post on the right to Alderholt. When you reach Alderholt, turn left on to the B3078 through Alderholt and into Cripplestyle. - From Cranborne, take the B3078 towards Fordingbridge. Follow the road until you reach Cripplstyle just before Alderholt. The Swallows Holiday Cottage, Heatherview located on the left, approximately 200 metres after the Cripplestyle signpost.
